Orizon was awarded a prime Systems Engineering and Task Analysis contract at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to support the Knowledge Management efforts for the JITF-CT. The support included a range of program management and engineering services to integrate diverse commercial and military Information Technology (IT) components, data sources, and methodologies into the JITF-CT Knowledge Management environment. It included providing program and technical expertise for the development, review, and evaluation of technical and business processes related to engineering, solution fielding, strategic and operational planning, operations, and customer support.

Orizon developed a DoD and Law Enforcement Combating Terrorism Information Sharing concept (named JRIES) to provide for better knowledge and threat sharing capabilities between the JITF-CT and numerous Federal Agencies to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and law enforcement agencies in every state. We provided significant subject matter expertise for analyzing new and existing technologies for insertion into the JITF-CT’s operational environment. As a result of this investigation, JITF-CT was able to develop a comprehensive plan to improve collaboration on law enforcement issues between state and federal agencies.(/p>
