New Agency Portal Support at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Orizon helped the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Office of Human Capital Management (OHCM) evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the new agency-wide workforce services portal. The site is the primary means OHCM uses to provide general guidance and direction on Federal/agency-wide personnel policies, regulations, and related materials to all NASA managers/supervisors, employees, and human resource staff. Orizon analyzed the current site and the effectiveness of existing content, developed improvements to its design, developed more relevant content consistent with current Federal and agency-wide regulations, and provides on-going maintenance of the portal. Orizon:

  • Evaluated existing content on NASA web sites to identify current/relevant content, including regulations, personnel bulletins and related guidance for populating new agency portal.
  • Reviewed and improved the portal site’s design, layout, and content organization for intuitiveness, user-friendliness, and value.
  • Identified content/information gaps and recommended organization and format of content.
  • Planned, analyzed, organized, and developed content to support the NASA’s Human Capital (HC) program.
  • Developed and/or revised existing policy content and populated agency OHCM workforce service portal community pages with current HC/HR policy content useful to NASA stakeholders.
  • Provided ongoing content support for the workforce services portal.
